Xinxuan LI and Qiang LI to enter Ph.D. program, Daoyue LAI to enter M.S. program

On March 3, 2023, Xinxuan LI and Qiang LI, master's students in our laboratory, completed their master's programs. Both will continue their studies in our laboratory's doctoral program starting in April.

Xinxuan will continue her research in mechanobiology. In her previous research, she has revealed the mechanisms of cell response to pressure stimulation. In her doctoral program, she aims to further develop this research.

Qiang will develop a human lung fibrosis model using organ chips. In his previous research, he has studied the induction of fibrosis in a co-culture system of alveolar epithelial cells, fibroblasts, and vascular endothelial cells. In his doctoral program, he aims to develop a human lung fibrosis model using organ chips.

In addition, research student Daoyue LAI has entered our laboratory's master's program. Daoyue will conduct research to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of the effects of gravity on aging.

The future success of the three is expected.
