Rumaisa secured this prestigious scholarship position through the recommendation of the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rumaisa has embarked on her research journey with a noble mission\u2014to contribute to the development of therapies for cardiovascular diseases by utilizing cardiomyocytes derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). According to the World Health Organization, Pakistan witnesses a staggering 46 deaths per hour due to heart failure. Consequently, a lack of research has led to the unfortunate loss of 406,870 lives annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The addition of Rameisa to our research laboratory is a cause for great celebration.
